At echoesofmalaysia.com, we strive to provide exceptional podcast recording and production services. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds of our services. Please read this policy carefully before making a booking.

2. Studio Booking Cancellations

2.1 Cancellation by Client

More than 72 hours before scheduled session: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee

48-72 hours before scheduled session: 50% refund of the booking fee

24-48 hours before scheduled session: 25% refund of the booking fee

Less than 24 hours before scheduled session: No refund

2.2 No-Shows

If you fail to show up for your scheduled session without prior cancellation, you will not be eligible for any refund, and the full booking fee will be forfeited.

2.3 Late Arrivals

If you arrive late for your session, we will do our best to accommodate you, but your session will still end at the originally scheduled time. No refunds or extensions will be provided for time lost due to late arrivals.

3. Rescheduling Policy

3.1 Client-Initiated Rescheduling

You may reschedule your studio session subject to the following conditions:

  • More than 72 hours notice: One free rescheduling allowed
  • 48-72 hours notice: Rescheduling fee of RM 50
  • 24-48 hours notice: Rescheduling fee of RM 100
  • Less than 24 hours notice: Rescheduling not available; cancellation policy applies

3.2 Studio-Initiated Rescheduling

In rare cases where we need to reschedule your session due to unforeseen circumstances, technical issues, or emergencies, we will:

  • Notify you as soon as possible
  • Offer alternative dates and times at no additional cost
  • Provide a full refund if no suitable alternative can be arranged

4. Production Services Refunds

4.1 Pre-Production Services

Refunds for consulting, planning, and pre-production services are handled as follows:

  • Before services commence: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee
  • After initial consultation: 50% refund
  • After work has begun: No refund, but unused portions may be credited toward future services

4.2 Post-Production Services

For editing, mixing, and mastering services:

  • Before work begins: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee
  • After initial draft delivery: 50% refund
  • After final delivery: No refund, but we will work with you to address any reasonable concerns within 14 days

5. Package and Subscription Refunds

5.1 Multi-Session Packages

If you purchase a package of multiple studio sessions:

  • Unused sessions may be refunded on a pro-rata basis minus a 15% administrative fee
  • Refund requests must be made within 90 days of package purchase
  • At least 50% of package sessions must remain unused to qualify for refund

5.2 Recurring Subscriptions

For monthly or recurring service subscriptions:

  • You may cancel at any time with notice before the next billing cycle
  • No refunds for the current billing period
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

6. Quality Guarantee

6.1 Our Commitment

We are committed to delivering high-quality services. If you are unsatisfied with the quality of our production services, we will:

  • Work with you to address specific concerns within 14 days of delivery
  • Provide reasonable revisions at no additional cost
  • Consider partial refunds on a case-by-case basis if quality standards are not met

6.2 Technical Issues

If technical issues on our end significantly impact your session or deliverables:

  • We will offer a complimentary rescheduling or re-recording
  • Provide a partial or full refund depending on the extent of the issue
  • Work diligently to prevent future occurrences

7. Force Majeure

echoesofmalaysia.com is not liable for cancellations or service disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters, extreme weather conditions
  • Government restrictions, public health emergencies
  • Power outages, internet service disruptions
  • Acts of terrorism, civil unrest

In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule or provide credits for future services rather than monetary refunds.

8. Refund Processing

8.1 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  2. Provide your booking details and reason for the refund request
  3. Include any relevant documentation

8.2 Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the booking. Please note that it may take additional time for your financial institution to process the refund.

8.3 Administrative Fees

Most refunds are subject to an administrative fee to cover transaction and processing costs. The specific fee percentage is indicated in the relevant sections of this policy.

9. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable under all circumstances:

  • Digital products and downloads once accessed or downloaded
  • Custom services already delivered or substantially completed
  • Third-party services or products purchased on your behalf
  • Special event or holiday bookings (unless specified otherwise)

10. Disputes and Exceptions
